Newbie Template Question

My PC just got turned into a vampire. How do I apply the template? Is there an easy way to do it, or do I need to go to 17 menus and steps to do this?
 
To apply a template, click in the same place you would to add a class level, then scroll down past the base classes and prestige classes. Templates are near the bottom, and listed alphabetically, so Vampire will be nearly the last.
