New WotC Survey, another chance to ask for licensing

The last question is a free for all. I asked for more electronic tools. Even though I don't play 4e, I think limiting access to 4e's tools is a mistake. I asked for legal pdfs (because there already are pdfs, not just legal ones). And I asked for a licensing deal with Realm Works.

Happy New Year

I make sure to mention the need to license digital content and specifically mention HL and RW in every month's WoTC survey. Not sure if it makes any difference, but I'm filling in the survey anyway to give feedback on various mechanics and products they ask about, so it doesn't hurt to throw it in.

In the most recent survey I thanked them for the SRD but asked that they license to a greater number of digital tools, specifically calling out HL and RW.

Would this survey be a place to ask for Forgotten Realms content to be available as digital content? And if so, what would be the chances of getting it from multiple timelines do you think? I really prefer the Realms before the Time of Troubles.

Yes, I think it would be appropriate. The final, open-ended questions that they put in their surveys are the only way I know to make such requests, knowing that someone is going through and reviewing and tabulating the results.

Yes. That is the purpose of the open-ended question at the end of the survey. Just be succinct and keep it to a single request. Not sure how or if they tabulate open-ended question, but I would think that if they don't have to parse a long-winded request it will increase the chance of your request being "counted."
