Greetings everyone,

Here is the latest Warhammer Fantasy file update Version 2.9

You can download them from:

Under the WFB Folder.

Unfortunately this has been over a period of 3 months and nothing major
has changed. I received numerous small request and errors. Spelling,
functionality etc. So I really don't remember everything I did. As a
matter of fact I remember hardly anything. Mostly due to the Christmas
Holidays, skiing and numerous other things.

A few big things:

The Chaos Knights saves should now work fine. A typo slipped into the
last release thus managing to do all kinds of strange things.

I think I also fixed the way barding effects characters so now they no
longer have a minus 1 to their natural movement. It may still be
cropping up in different armies because not all armies use the same
barding so let me know.

Also after what seems like forever the Silver Helms and Dragon Prince
MAY now have the correct points. I found an error with SH characters
that had been hidden before I inherited the files. So I had to redo the
character, a few options etc. DP Standards should now be correct also.

The Skaven Vermin Lord can now take Spells.

Fixed a few things in Orc/Goblins but can't remember what.

THINGS NOT FIXED:

The ability for a Magic Standard to effect anything but his immediate
parent unit. Many of you have asked why the Standard of Shielding
doesn't effect my character model. Well basically AB can't do it. Rob
is working on the fix for this in his next release of AB and as soon as
I get it I will impliment it. This also applies to charactes who are
attached to a unit with the attachment tab. However this problem is
much more complicated according to Rob and may not make it.

Any way have fun and good gaming.

Cheers,

John Connell
