New user, couple questions.

Hello all,

I recently joined a Pathfinder game in my town, and after looking all over for something that gave me an easy to read and edit character sheet, I sampled HeroLab and found it to be simply the best for what I needed. I do, however, have some things I want/need to do in it that I haven't figured out how to, and was hoping the community might provide some insight.

First, I LOVE how the sheet includes a bunch of little check boxes for tracked items and special abilities, like a cleric's number of channels per day or how many sling bullets she has left. Is there some way I can have the program list the spells a character has in the same manner? Right now I just have it hand-written in the empty space at the bottom of the last page, but of course if something should damage my sheet I'll need to re-write in that part at the bottom.

Second, I have a custom magical item that I haven't been able to find a way to represent accurately in the program. It's a magic ring, that gives the user +20 fire resistance, and can cast a 10D6 fireball three times a day, OR a 10D6 Fireball that does not harm the caster once per day. How can I create this fancy piece of jewelry on the character sheet?

Once again, I'm really happy with the product, and hope somebody can help me with these questions.

For the spells, I am assuming you are printing your sheet out, hit print preview on that character, then hit the dossiers button. You can switch to your characters spell book. There will be an option for spell summaries or full descriptions. You can print your entire spell book and not have to write up the spells at all.

For your custom item you can enter it via the editor (Tools, open editor). It may take a little work but you can add custom magic items there.

That listing for the spells is nice, but I was hoping for checkmark boxes to tick off when I had spent one, like the spell-like abilities have. Is there an option for that, or is there a way I might suggest the feature?

Ok, I saw some YouTube videos on how to add wondrous items, and tried it to make the Ring of Torag, but I did something wrong because it did something strange when I selected it for my character: It made me choose between Bit of Luck and Dimensional Hop (my two base-level clerical domain abilities). That can't be right, I was trying to set it to cast a 10d6 Fireball 3 times a day, and I want to give its wearer a +20 Fire Resistance too, but the video didn't say how to add that particular value and my code monkey skills are way too out of practice to figure out how to do that from scratch. Is anyone available to assist me with this?
