New spells not showing up

I have a file for my old lvl 10 Paladin. I just bought Ultimate Magic and the spells are not showing up. If I make a new Paladin the new spells do show up....so do I have to make my character over from scratch?

How do I add a new books content to an old character?

I'm guessing you created the old character before you bought Ultimate Magic?

Open your old character, Type 'Ctrl-k' to open the Configure Hero dialog.

Find Ultimate Magic, and put a check mark next to it.

Click Ok, then you may need to click OK again.

The spells should be there now.
