Okay, first, let me start out by saying hi to the list! Glad to see
there is some support for us "rookies" to turn to.
Now the fun part, questions, question and more questions....
A friend of mine has designed a game that uses a points system in
which you use to create your armylist. If is not like 40k (or any
other GW game) that uses the M,WS,BS,etc stats...it is very basic...
it has M(ove), AC (attack class), DC (defense class), and MC (morale
class). How does one go about starting something like this?
Everytime I try to create an armybuilder file, it list these stats,
which I don't want.
Trust me, this is just the first of 80 million questions that I know
I will be asking! I want to say thanks in advance because I know I
will not have said it enough by the time I'm done!

Steve,

I'm assuming you have the ABCreator Kit, right? Read the documentation in
there.... it's incredibly helpful.

In particular, you're going to want to check out the section detailing data
definition files. That's where you describe all the statistics you're
going to need.

There's plenty of people here that can help out, but that's where to check
for the basic info.

You need to edit the datadef file. Look up datadefs in the Construction
Kit manual, then copy the 40K or Warhammer one and delete the bits you
don't need.

You will have to start by creating a data definition file. This file
tells AB the basic stats and guidelines for your game system. Info
on how to do this can be found in the RTFs accompanying ABCreate.
Hope that helps.
