Hey Everyone,
I don't post here that often, but I would like to briefly tell you about
a new website launching in September. http://www.gamingdirectory.biz is
a new site to find gaming stores, tournaments, conventions, people to
play games with, and more. In addition, you will be able to rate stores
that you've been to, so others can determine how good a store really is.
Launching in September will be the store directory, tournament search,
and store rating systems. All of the other features will be available
by early 2005 (you can see the estimated schedule at
http://www.gamingdirectory.biz/gamingdirectory/samples/flier.doc).
Everyone that goes out and registers will be entered in a special raffle
for the site launch with several prizes. Store owners that register
will be entered in a raffle as well for special discounts with the site.
You can see the entire prize list at the site, but here's what's there
right now:
Gamer Raffle Prizes (Updated 8/23/2004)
$25 gift certificate to RPG Now (www.rpgnow.com)
$25 gift certificate to Etail Games (www.etailgames.com)
One copy of FLUXX (published by Looney Labs)
One copy of Munchkin (published by Steve Jackson Games)

One free month as a featured store
One year of free HTML tournament listings
One year of free basic text tournament listings
More things will be added as we get closer to launch. The raffle will
be open to everyone that registers by October 1st, but we will also have
a special raffle (prizes undetermined) for everyone that registers
before launch (approximately September 7th).
Also, for every store and/or gamer you refer that registers, you will be
given points that will be able to be redeemed for free stuff or site
discounts. As a special bonus, we will quadruple the points given for
every store referred by September 7th, and double them for gamers
referred by September 7th.
For store owners, we will be offering discounted rates through October
1st, but we will offer additional discounts to every store that
registers by September 7th (so we can have as many stores live as
possible for launch).
