Natural Weapons and Weapon Finesse

New member
New with Hero Lab and trying to convert the quasit Erylium from Burnt Offerings to Pathfinder with the help of Hero Labs. Had to make her a wizard as there is no thaumaturge class in HL/PF. But now to my real problem.

Erylium has the feat Weapon Finesse which should work with Natural Weapons, right?

In the original stat block in Burnt offerings she has +11 in claws and +6 in bite which is a little strange as she doesn't seem to get the Weapon Finesse bonus on her bite but only with her claws.

Now in HL she gets no Weapon Finesse bonus, neither with her Claws nor with her Bite, but she does get it with her Unarmed strike as well as with her dagger (when used as a melee weapon). Have I misunderstood something or is HL not functioning correctly when it doesn't giver her her Dex bonus with her claws and/or bite?

I would be a little surprised no one noticed that WF is not working with Natural attacks of course its not totally impossible.

Natural attacks did change from 3.5 to Pathfinder in that the Type of Natural attack decided if the attack was primary or secondary. In 3.5 it was how they got displayed in the stat block that controlled it. So in PFPRG Claws and Bites are both primary unlike 3.5.

Also if she is wielding the dagger that will change ALL natural attacks into Secondary attacks. So is the dagger equipped?

If the above does not help can you copy/paste the full stat block so we can better help you find the issue?

Yes, unequipping the dagger gave the weapon finesse bonus to both her natural attacks. It's me not being familiar enough with the rules. I apologise for taking up your time.
