Mystic: Psi points

So I have searched, and came up empty. Maybe the community can help.

I am running a Mystic, and our house rules puts me having a higher psi points maximum that the program currently says I do, and a smaller per use limit.

I'm looking for a way to change what hero lab says is my maximum total Psi points. I browsed through the adjustments and couldn't find one.

I learned that Spells known/memorized will give me additional talents/disciplines, but nothing to change my total psi point maximum, or my psi point limit per ability use.

Is it tied to another adjustment that I'm not seeing the connection with, or just not here...yet.

It's likely not there yet. The Mystic is currently Unearthed Arcana, which is not really supported systematically in the Community Pack. Without other classes using psi points, there hasn't been a real need to program adjustments.

You could try going into the Editor and messing with the class itself to make the changes. But be aware that any changes you make to the Mystic file will be overwritten next time the Community Pack gets updated. To get around that, you'd need to make a full copy of the class (and potentially whatever class abilities govern the psi points) and save it as something different.

If you want to make changes to just Part of a class in the Community Pack you want to look at the "Replaces Thing ID" feature. This lets you overwrite a single Thing (ie feat/ability) with your version and not have to worry about it getting changed when a new version of the Pack comes out.

Tools > Show Editor
Create a new file.
Click on the Tracker tab.
Add a Psi Points tracker on that tab, test it after saving it and you'll have a tracker.

It's not a perfect solution, granted, but it will work in a pinch if you need a tracker for it.
