Files can't be attached to posts. Instead, you should go to the Files
section of the AB group on yahoogroups and upload your files there. You can
then include links to those files within your post to the group. This way,
users who WANT the files can go get them and others can simply ignore them
without wasting the download bandwidth. :-)

Sending a copy of a post to me directly is not normally necessary, since I
keep a pretty close eye on this forum. I may go offline for a few days at
times, but it's temporary (e.g. at a tradeshow). And sometimes Colen and
others jump in with answers before I need to do so, so it may LOOK like I'm
not around, but I'm still lurking. :-)

I'll take a look at your wish list items shortly. However, it will take a
bit of thought to assess them, and I've got some deadlines to meet for
tomorrow, so I won't tackle it until after that. :-)

i assumed I could post them to the files area - as it turns out, the
AB group files area is closed, locked up, inaccessable to us mere
mortals. Whoever's the mod (would that be you?) should be able to put
stuff up, but the rest of us don't have enough bars on our
shoulders ;)

Hmmm. I wasn't aware of that. Our esteemed master of skrills, Colen, is
also the master of the forum.

So, to Colen: Is this an "oops" or is this an intentional thing that you
told me about long ago and that I've since completely forgotten about? :-)
If the latter, please refresh my poor addled brain with the reasoning so I
don't look like an idiot (again) when this question next comes up. :-)

I think we're getting confused between the 'AB' group, i.e. this one,
and the ab-files group, i.e. ab-files@yahoogroups.com. Anyone can post
files on ab-files, but only moderators can put files in this one (I only
did this to stop people putting the files here as well...).
