I'm new to the AB40K system but I’ve come across a few odd problems.

1. An Attack bike squadron costs 50 points per unit and can start from 1 unit being selected upwards. When I select an Attack bike squadron it puts the points cost at 100 and says I have selected 2 and wont let me lower the amount of units taken. I think its doubling the points cost as there are 2 guys per bike in this squadron but sees them as costing 50 points each instead of as a single unit.

2. When taking a land speeder squadron of 3 units according to Codex SM it says that a Tornado is fitted with a Heavy bolter and Heavy flamer. The Bolter can be upgraded to a Multimelta and the Heavy flamer upgraded to an Assault cannon. When trying to equip all 3 with Multimeltas and Assault cannons it says I have too many Assault cannons.

3. When taking a Wolf lord or Wolf guard battle leader with bodyguard and 5 other Wolf guards all equipped with Terminator Armour ( 7 in total )it wont let me take 3 Assault cannons, but the rules say I can have 1 heavy weapon per every 3 Wolf guard.

Anyone else get this?

Cheers

I think that all that is needed is a little more indepth reading in your codexes. ;)

There isn't anything wrong with the listing. In the Space Wolf codex it refers to Codex: Space Marine's listing of the attack bike squadron. C:SM specifically states 2-3 attack bikes per squadron.

Once again there isn't anything wrong with the listing. The reason you are getting that error is that in the Space Marine Codex it specifically states on pg36 Any landspeeder with a Heavy Bolter can be upgraded to a tornado by adding an Assault Cannon. And right after that its states Any landspeeder with a Multi-Melta can be upgrades to a tornado by adding a Heavy Flamer. You have to have a HB to get a AC and likewise you have to have a MM to get the HF.

There isn't anything wrong here either. Page 8 of the Space Wolves codex states exactly what you had said above correctly, however the Wolf Lord, Or for that matter any special character is not included when figuring out how many Wolf Guard Bodyguard models are in the unit for the heavy weapon amounts.

If you have anyother questions they would get answered faster if you posted them on the forums on the actual AB40k datafile's website

Thanks for your inquiry! :)
