Monastic Legacy feat adding too many levels

The feat Monastic Legacy adds half your levels in non-Monk classes to your Monk levels for the purposes of figuring out a few Monk abilities like damage.

It would appear that it is adding half levels of even Monk-boosting classes like Champion of Irori. CoI levels count as Monk levels for some of the same Monk abilities that Monastic Legacy affects.

So if I have the feat, and add two levels of Champion of Irori, HeroLab treats my Monk level as three higher for said abilities, not two.

By the strict text I suppose that's right, but it doesn't feel like this is intended, double-counting those levels, does it?
