Missing special characters?

With the March 29th version I can't seem to find most named characters in the list. I made sure the check box is cleared for "Hide special characters" and have even completely removed and reinstalled everything.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Yes! I am having the same issue, no idea what happened, I've done the same trouble shooting steps you did to no avail.

Yes, I'm having the same issue. I did however follow their link for bug fixes, and it looks like this is an issue that multiple people are facing.

They are working on it now, should be fixed in the next release...hopefully very soon ;)
 
Yes, I am seeing the same issue. Missing character examples: Aun'va in Tau Army, and Vulkan He'stan in Space Marines (there are many missing in the Space Marine HQ list).

The Space Marine HQ list only shows 2 named characters: Chaplain Grimaldus and Cypher.

The Tau HQ named characters shown are Farsight, Shadowsun, and Darkstrider.

I have the Hide Named or Special Characters unchecked in the rules.
 
I cant find "Vrosh Tattersoul" and "Kranon the Relentless". I am still new to both WH40K and Army Builder, any suggestions?
 
I can´t find most of the Necron HQ´s either, like Imotekh the Stormlord, Nemesor Zahndrekh, Vargard Obyron and Illuminir Szeras.

Any suggestions?
 
I have the July 19 update for 40k and it doesn't have any named characters for DA, SM (any SM codexes White Scars, Fists, etc.), or CSM... haven't checked the others.

Is there anything I need to do to fix it?
 
...ah the answer was there all along. Went to setting in Roster>Change Rules> b1 uncheck Hide Names/Special Chars
 
Hate to necro a thread, but this seems to continue to be a problem :\
Army Builder 3.5c #608 with data set WH40k 7th Ed v1.60

And yes, I already told it not to hide characters
