messed up my install of HL

I purchased HL about 40 days ago and installed some 3rd party HL plugins from Paizo which is now causing me to get a bunch of bootstrap errors. I have no idea how to uninstall these plugins so I was going to do a clean install but because I have not owned the game for 120 days I am limited. Is there some way to uninstall and install before the 120 day limit (or uninstall the plugins)?

Knew I should have left it alone:(

I'm going to presume that the add ons are *.user files located in your program data folder. Load HL with the errors then look at the top bar you should be able to find a bunch of drop down options. Select the option to show the program data folder, I can't remember the exact wording, once the data folder has opened up look for all the user files then cut and paste them elsewhere on your Hard drive. Press CTRL+R to reload the core HL files once you've closed the data folder and returned back to HL this should hopefully re-establish the default settings.

Of course you could always use the ignore supplemental packages option too, but I'm not sure if that would be enough!

Ahh, that fixed it, thanks. Stupid 3rd party "these work with HL" user files.
Any time a product allows third-party modifications, you run into this potentially. If you still want to use them, you may be able to pull them in one-by-one to see where the errors are. It's also possible that some of them are co-dependent. I really can't say within knowing which modifications you're trying to use (and are you saying that Paizo is releasing .user files on their own or that someone else is creating .user files for Pathfinder?) but I've had a fair amount of luck reading the error messages and using a good text editor to figure out what needs to be changed in the actual editor (generally the error message gives a line number in the .user file).

Lastly, while I don't think it's the proper solution for your current situation, the 120 day limit is on installing to another computer (sometimes, the same computer but with a different OS or the same one but a software update or a hardware change makes it look different to Windows, which means it tells HeroLab that you're trying to install on a different computer) and you can send an email to support@wolflair.com to get reassigned early.
