Melee Weapons Damage vs. Min Str.

While we await the massive work and approvals of Caped updates and new files, I have been making stuff from the new Sci-Fi Companion. This may have always been a problem so not sure. So, for example, go to page 50 of Melee Weapons. Make yourself:

EMP Baton, Str+d4, Min Str d6
or
Psi Blade, Str+d8, Min Str d4

Now look at the gear on the Armory tab. The EMP Baton will let me equip with no penalty if my strength is d4. That is wrong, it is supposed to be d6 minimum Strength. Now scroll down to the Psi Blade Str+d8 and raise my Strength to d6, I should be able to equip with no penalty. Nope, it still says I don't meet the str requirement.

Now, perhaps I am using the wrong fields so how do you or where do you apply the proper fields so the melee equipment will work correctly based on Damage versus Min Str required?
 
It's a tag - StrReqDie. The way it's supposed to work is that if there's no StrReqDie tag on it, it uses the Weapon Die as the Min Str. And it will when the new code gets released.
I had some friends of mine take the current code base and build a bunch of characters. They beat it up and they found some stuff I needed to fix. That was one of them.
