McGuffin's Guide to Space Construction

I am wanting to integrate the spaceship construction rules from McGuffin's Guide to Space Construction (by Cracked Mirror Publishing). They are somewhat different than the usual Vehicle rules (for example, the other attributes are used, not just Strength). Also, the Strength score can go a whole lot higher than normal (for example, a battleship might have a strength of 210).

Actually, looking at it more closely, this would probably just be a modified version of adding Mecha to a character. How do I go about modifying it? I haven't quite figured out where the data is in the first place in order to modify it on my own. If someone could point me to that so that I could duplicate it, and then modify it, I would be most appreciative.

This sort of thing is built into the data files, and is very hard to modify. Is it possible to either use the Mecha rules, or simply to implement the spaceship construction rules as feats, powers, etc that are added to a normal hero?

I am thinking that going with the Mecha rules would be the way to go. Maybe have some sort of power for the strength, since it goes a lot higher in the McGuffin's Guide. It isn't like it is used for melee damage anyway. :) I'd have to play with it, but I think that it would work.

My initial idea was to copy the Mecha thing and rename it starship, but that sounds like it wouldn't be worth the effort. And a lot of Mecha can be starships anyway (Voltron comes immediately to mind). So, thanks anyway.
