The May update has been withdrawn while we address some problems with it. Sorry, everyone! If you didn't download the update already, there's nothing you need to worry about - we'll upload a fixed update soon.

If you already downloaded the update and need to roll back, you can do the following:

Windows / Mac

  1. Load Pathfinder, then go to the "Tools" menu, "Explore Folders" submenu, and choose "Game Data Folder". An explorer window should appear.
  2. From that folder, delete the following three files: CampSetting16.pkg, PlayerComp23.pkg, and LGMythicSpell.pkg. Make sure you've deleted those three files before continuing.
  3. Quit and relaunch Hero Lab, and press the "Find Updates" button at the bottom-right of the "Select a Game" screen.
  4. Look for the v12.18 Pathfinder update in the list - it should be near the top. Download and install it.
  5. Load the Pathfinder game system. You should now be restored to the old version of the update.

iPad

  1. Go to the "Updates" screen on the iPad, and press "Check for Updates". You should see version 12.18 displayed in the list of available updates. Make sure you see 12.18 before continuing.
  2. Download and install the 12.18 update. When you're asked if you want to install an older update, say "Yes".
  3. You should now be restored to the old version of the update.

Please note

Note that if you saved any characters since installing the 12.19 update, you'll get errors reported after loading them with the 12.18 update. Don't worry, you can ignore these - they'll go away once we upload a fixed version of the update.

Again, sorry for the inconvenience, everyone. :(
