Max Players?

I'm assuming that the number of players that can access your realm would be infinite (or close enough), right?

I just had the idea that some of those big LARP groups could use RW and do holy shit level of cool stuff with it. Like, AMAZING things. As an ex LARPer, and one who ran way too many games, I keep thinking that a RW db for a Troupe would be AMAZING.

Some of these games have 40+ active players, and another 100 or so on their rolls.

Charging people for keys would be a great way to drum up RW business, and keep all those wacky players involved.

I just had a flashback to my Camarilla days and trying to imagine that much detail in RW... Wow...

It would be best to wait until we have the ability to reveal different things to different players. Not every player knows everything that all the others know, after all. Also would be nice to have limited editing and reveal ability with player accounts, for things known about their characters.

That's a great idea! The player accounts should have a default "Individual" that they can fill out for their character(s) and reveal public items like race, looks, etc but not reveal background items except to GM and of course, attach their HL portfolio...

While that's a really good idea, and one I hadn't even thought of, I was just thinking about how neat it would be just to have the city history, the previous Prince's, the current city-wide rumors, who's in charge of which clans, who's the big bad, etc... All available for everyone to see whenever they wanted.

You could also use it for game dates and/or events happening in the near future.

Not to mention all the great stuff you could put under mechanics like House Rules or weird things your troupe is doing vs. RAW. What books you're using, what clans are allowed, which aren't, etc...

The one big feature missing for LARPers is individual player reveal. Once we add that capability, LARP groups become an intriguing marketing opportunity for Realm Works.

I'm actually setting up a base realm for LARP groups now for when the marketplace comes out (or if I actually decide to run another one).

90% of what I want players to see is easy and requires no change. It gets interesting where some things are concerned, like Rumors, or plots that are group specific.

If RW was around 10 years ago, the games I ran back then (45-100 players) would have been EPIC as it stands. If you get individual reveal/access up and running....holy smokes.

The Cam would wet themselves over this software. OWbN would be extremely happy too. Every small game would benefit.

I'm just imagining having in the sources section each game's Settings Document, and as a player, you could check out what other games are doing if you're feeling up to traveling for a game. Or even seeing who the Prince is in Chicago, when you're in Indianapolis and getting ready to go.

Seriously, the Marketplace needs to happen soon (lol) and the individual reveal following shortly thereafter. This would make me SOOOOO happy.
