Masterwork Weapons Proficiency Error/Bug ??

One of my players plays a dual class rogue/sorcerer. Up until now things have been working fine. However, when I installed 1.1c something messed up the character's ability to use a shortsword.

Allow me to explain further. All rogues are proficient with shortswords. This character has a the Weapon Finesse feat. His level is 2 rogue/2 sorcerer and his Dex is 17, giving him a total of +5 to ranged attacks or when using light melee weapons.

Currently he has a masterwork shortsword which should translate into a +6 to attack roles with this melee weapon. However, since installing the 1.1c upgrade the shortsword registers with a +2 attack bonus and has a mark indicating that the character is not proficient with this weapon (which accounts for the attack bonus being +2 and not +6 as it should be).

I messed around a bit and realized that this problem only affects masterwork weapons. If I use a normal shortsword the character gets a +5 as expected (b/c of the Weapon Finesse feat).

Hopefully you guys can fix this with the next upgrade. Thanks!

BTW: I really like Hero Lab. It works great for me.

OK, Colen and I just gave this a try within 1.1c from our hotel room here
at the tradeshow. We were not able to reproduce this error. :-( So there
appears to be something a bit more insidious going on. Could you please
send the saved portfolio to Colen (colen at wolflair.com)? That way, we
can take a look at it in more detail and hopefully uncover the issue when
we get back from the show.

Thanks, Rob

I think it may be something going on with this particular character. Another character (specifically, a level 4 paladin from another player) get the appropriate bonus from his masterwork greatsword.

I will send both the characters so you can take a look at them.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for sending the file over - we'll check this out and get it fixed.

Thanks!
