Under the description for most of the manuals and tomes, it states that you gain 2 points in its respective ability as well as the maximum score for that ability. The way I read that is that if the maximum score is currently 20, then it should improve to 22.
I have a character that has a 20 wisdom and have just gained the Tome of Understanding. I used the adjustment's tab to give him the +2, however, my maximum remained at 20 and my ability modifier did not improve to +6 like it should have.
Is there a way to make an adjustment to the maximum score? Is there going to be a fix to this in the future? I did notice that it was a problem in the d20 as well.
