Making rang: work right?

How do I get the rang: attributes to work? I've got a child unit that has 6 models in it. Up to 3 of those can have a weapon upgrade. I want AB to automatically remove one of the base weapons each time I add an upgraded one. To add to the problem, I can increase the unit size to 12 models and then up to six can have the upgrade. Any help would be great as I have a lot of units that do the same thing.

Thanks,

Keith

You need to use a combination of rang: on the options, Option
groups, and the rmdr: unit attribute. There are heaps of examples of
this sort of thing in the marine 40k files (and probably others too)

Is this something different to what you got to work before?

Cheers,
Russell.

I think I'm just going to have to have AB add another unit to get this one to work right. That's no big deal. I've been able to get the rang: to work on other squads, just not this one. I used the IG files to figure it out. They seem to have a lot of extra options and attributes that they may not have had to work correctly. Then again, they may need to be there for the campaign and Chapter Approved files.

Thanks,

Keith
