Major hexes and grand hexes

I want a magic item to add a single Major Hex and a grand hex to a witch.
If I bootstrap the extra hex feat to the item it lets me add any hex but I want to add only 1 major hex and one grand hex. I do not understand how the Exper-reqs work I think that's how I would be able to differentiate between the types of hexes.
