Magus Spellstrike with Phase Bolt

yesyves

New member
Hi

I'm wondering, since a spellstrike channels a spell into a punch or sword thrust to deliver a combined attack, does a spellstrike with phase bolt affects circumstance bonuses to AC as a regular phase bolt ?

Thanks !

Spellstrike says you make a melee strike with your weapon. I don't see anything in it that suggests that it would apply a targeting effect like that of phase bolt. The melee strike looks like it's made normally.

Yep, basically you skip the attack portion of whatever spell you're using, including any modifications to the attack like that of phase bolt, instead just applying the on-hit effects if your Strike hits.
