Lock to 'Format' when editing

hi, im finding it annoying that when editing lots (in this case) separate monsters that quite often the screen jumps from the 'Format' section (where i want to be) to the home screen / tab instead.

Any way i can default it to stay in format section when im editing ? or to default there when editing ?

Ah, you are talking about the ribbon :-)

Yes, I find it annoying too.

I haven't been able to find a way of switching it. Maybe there is a hot key which will switch it back to the Format tab - only slightly quicker than clicking on the right tab.
 
Alt-F should switch to the Format tab if it's showing, unless you've put another command that starts with F on the Quick Access Toolbar. It'll also show you the next keystroke(s) for the controls on the Format Ribbon.

thanks for the shortcut-tip Parody, but i was hoping for a way of locking it there as i have to keep jumping back to it... just a small thing but bl**** annoying :P
