linux and windows on the same machine can you use the same licence?

I have just installed ubuntu to dual boot on my PC, Can I use the same primary licence if I install herolab on the Ubuntu partion, both installs would be on the same hard drive if that helps
 
Different OSes will be detected as different computers. Use the license menu...obtain secondary license in order to get a second license number, and then use that number to set up the other copy of Hero Lab on the other partition.
