What is a linked Class? I have given a new class that I am creating the Magus Arcana power. I have gotten the power to work in most ways in. the validation section I get the validation Error Magus linked class required and in the feats tab my selection of Extra Arcana is highlighted in red but other wises functions normally.
 
Not near HL at the moment, and only working from memory, but the Extra Arcana feat will probably have a pre requisite script stating Magus class required.

You need to make your new class "count as" the Magus class, if I recall correctly there is a feature in the editor that you can use to do this. It's a button or drop down box that displays a list of all classes.
