How quickly can/will the tech team move a license once its been activated on a computer?

I have a laptop, want to install it there, but I intend to buy a new one, I dont know if that will be tonight with Black Friday sales or sometime before before Christmas.

I have a desktop that I will be doing the big work on and just moving the files to my laptop to run my games.

Any information would be helpful. I would have to activate it on my laptop then have to wait a few weeks just to get to use it on my new laptop. On the other hand, I really want to start using it for my kingmaker AP this weekend.

I'd recommend sending in the request to free up your secondary license a few business days before you receive the new computer - they can be released ahead of time, so you can have the license available to move when you're ready to make the move.
