License extension not working.

I purchased a license extension but it still runs in demo mode. I tried to run the activiation wizard again but at the end it gives me a message how licenses can't be reassigned for 120 days. Has anyone else had this problem before? Does it take a few hours for the servers to be updated to the extension?
