licence nonsence

opened up hero lab this morning to update my character ( for an important game tonight) and it said I was in demo mode, what the #@*^ I tried to activate and reactivate several times and I continue to get a stupid error message that I could not transfer the license even though all I was trying to do was to reactivate on the same computer. BTW contrary to the below information I have never transferred my license, every time your company has had an update I've uploaded the update and evidently it is logging it as a licensed transfer.

I checked with my license on the license website and it says it's up to date please immediately fix!!!! you do not want an angry customer who writes on a lot of boards and forums

Joseph, according to our records it appears you have Hero Lab installed on two computers (a Windows 8 and a Windows XP machine). However, you have one license on both computers instead of activating the second license. I'll walk you through the process of using your second license here, but you can also reference this page on our website.

To obtain your secondary license, you have two options. You can request it from the License Administration website at www.lonewolfdevel.com, or by selecting the "Obtain Secondary License" option from the "License" menu within Hero Lab. Once you have the secondary license, use it to activate the computer that has gone into demo mode.

Once you have a different license number attached to each computer you use Hero Lab on, you should stop needing to have to reassign your license every time you update the program.

Again, I'm sorry to hear you're so frustrated, but hopefully this will clarify things!
