legacy of fire

I play Legacy of Fire campaign. I purchased just now the base Pathfinder Hero Labs option. I have not purchase any add on packages yet. Is there a particular package, as a player, that would help me? Here are some magic items we are encountering that are not in the default package. I wanted to check and see if there was an add on that might be most helpful.

Thanks for your help.

The player content for Legacy of Fire should be included with the base HeroLab package for Pathfinder. The change in the new release, as far as I know, is just to make that content "active" by default instead of making new players look for where to activate it.

To check...
Press Ctrl+K
Scroll down the list of options on the right, looking for "d20 System Adventure Paths"
Under that, there is an entry for "Legacy of Fire" ... make sure there is a check in the box.

This needs to be verified for each character, or some may show items that others do not.

As for other packages, there isn't one that especially comes to mind.

Supporting content is probably scattered among various other packages... there is a Campaign Setting book for Katapesh (Dark Markets: A Guide to Katapesh) that might prove helpful for the GM in fleshing out the game.

There is also some material in the (free) Community Pack for the Broken Chains adventure module (not part of Legacy of Fire, but the GM may want to pull some material from it).

If you are looking for support products, I would suggest asking the same question in the Legacy of Fire forum area on Paizo's web site. People there are usually very good about offering suggestions... both Paizo's and third-party products that may add to a game.

Did you start with the Rulebook Entry Path (i.e., the Core Pathfinder Rules) or the Class Entry Path for your character's class? The suggestions will differ depending on your answer.

The way that I've built up my selection of Pathfinder data packages for Hero Lab over the years is to search on the SRD for what I was interested in (Class, Archetype, Race, Feat, Trait, Spell, Item, whatever it was) and check the copyright information for the source, then check the Hero Lab site to see which data package that source was in.
