Hey all. I just had a question about the L5R data files. Are they
complete as far as you know? (i.e. any errors or missing cards that
may exist, we have to tell you about them) or are there any updates
that you know have to be done, but haven't had the time/resources to
do?

There are a few missing cards that have been reported... I believe there are a
lot of reprints that are still missing from the Gold sets (unless Rob has added
them himself).

I found a few problems with the latest files.

The card "Seikua" is missing from the pre-gold promos

The whole "preview" episode (pre-imperial) is empty. I make a filter
for just cards in that episode, and come up empty

There are a number of issues in the current L5R files that have been
reported. Feel free to report anything you have found. I'd rather get the
same report twice than not at all. :-)

I have now created a new email account to send problems with the L5R data
files. Please use l5r@wolflair.com. This way, I get the appropriate emails
and this list doesn't get cluttered with them. :-)

Now that V1.4 is finished up, I will be dealing with the L5R files next.
There simply haven't been enough hours in the day to get everything done,
and I feel really guilty about not having L5R files updated, but it just
wasn't feasible. All I can say is that it's the top thing on my list now,
so I'll have them updated shortly. It really depends on whether there are
any new emergencies and/or any major surprises in getting RoB and TG added.
Keep your fingers crossed it all goes smoothly. :-)

Lastly, if there are folks out there who would like to take over aspects of
the L5R data files, please let contact me at l5r@wolflair.com. I'll keep
going with the core data sets until the automated converter is rock solid
(it still needs additional tweaking). But I'd love assistance with promo
cards, reprints, and the like. Those are things that we don't get from AEG
and ideally need to be managed by a hardcore L5R fan who really knows the
nuances of how best to handle/model those things in the data files. Let me
know if you're interested!
