L5R Database Schedule?

What's the status of the new L5R database? Winds of Change has been
spoiled quite thoroughly quite some time ago, and early Diamond lists
and MRP collections are starting to appear. Could you give some
update on the status, planned releases, and whether you need any help
with any of it?

At this point, I have turned over the material to Lone Wolf at the moment. I
simply don't have the time right now. I am sure they are looking for
volunteers, once they recover from GenCon.

aaah, ok. No prob then, good luck on whatever it is that's robbing
your time.

EVen though I'm sure I have NO idea the size of the fire I'm jumping
into, I think I can volunteer to take care of things, even though I'd
need some days to learn the process. But I'm a collector, and I buy
all expansions as they're released, AND L5R is my primary hobby now,
so I have the physical means to do the job. Lonewolf? What say you?

As Bob mentioned, he's deferred responsibility for the L5R data files over
to us. We didn't receive the data until we left for GenCon and the week
after GenCon is always crazy (lots of catchup to do). I've been working
hard on the WoC update for the past couple of days, and I'm hopeful that
I'll be able to get things completed by tomorrow.

Unfortunately, the data we've been given by AEG includes *NO* artist
information at this time. If anyone has access to the artist credits for
WoC, please send me the information off-list at rob@wolflair.com.

Also, AEG has sent us preliminary Diamond data. However, I need to check
with them before releasing anything. Hopefully, we'll be able to include a
large portion of Diamond data prior to the actual release, but nothing is
certain at this time.

Once we've got the initial WoC files released, I'd be VERY happy to talk to
folks who want to help out with maintaining the L5R data files. If you are
interested, please contact me off-list at rob@wolflair.com.

The data *never* includes artist information, since it is not in the rules
reference database (from where the data comes).

I usually grabbed that from Fan sites, or left it out (like I had to do with
the last Warlords release).
