L5R Ambition's Debt problem...

Make sure that you are not filtering for Diamond Bug or something like that.
I have no problem filtering for just Ambition's Debt

I recently picked up on eBay a large amount of older cards for L5R,
including several starters for the "Ambition's Debt" expansion.
However, I can't seem to add them to my CardVault inventory. If I
filter to show only Ambition's Debt cards, either in the Inventory
mode or in Deck-Building mode, nothing shows up. I have opened the
Ambition's Debt data file (I have CV1.5a and am using the version
5.7 data for L5R) in Microsoft Word and have seen that there is
information in it. However inside CardVault none of that comes
through. I have played with my settings, turned off any default
settings to prevent accidental filtering, and still nothing. It's
not just if I filter, either. If I remove all constraints, and sort
the cards by episode, Ambition's Debt is still missing.

Can anyone else duplicate this problem or perhaps enlighten me as to
why I'm having it?

I'm not. Like I said, even if I turn all the filters off, there are
no Ambition's Debt cards listed on my screen. It is the only
expansion that is not displaying.

The problem isn't in the filters. I would suspect maybe it is some
overriding setting in CardVault I set long ago that I don't
remember, but even if that is the case I can't imagine what would be
hitting Ambition's Debt but not any other sets. It's not like AD is
entirely made up of foils or anything like that.

Try this.



While you do *not* have the L5R files loaded, go into tools/Data File
Debugging/Compile Data Files . . ., select the L5R files, and click compile.
This will recompile the files from the individual data files. That may kick
things loose.



Also check to make sure that you don't have some kind of quality chosen in
you filters. These hide out in the setting menu.

That did it. I forcibly recompiled the L5R data files, and the
Ambition's Debt cards are now showing up just fine. I'm actually
kinda surprised, since this problem has persisted for some time,
through several L5R data file updates.

Anyway, it works again, that's all that matters. Thanks a bunch for
your help, Kevin.

That did it. I forcibly recompiled the L5R data files, and the
Ambition's Debt cards are now showing up just fine. I'm actually
