Kzin, anyone?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone tried making a PF version of the Kzin?

That would be those ferocious leonine people Larry Niven made for his Known Space Sci-Fi stories.

I think someone way, way back in time put together a D&D or d20 version of the Kzin for a fantasy setting.

Just wondering if anyone's maybe tried that for PF. And what the results might have been like.

I'm strongly tempted to spend some time doing a PF version now...

I did turn up a 3rd edition Kzin!

Thanks for that link, I'll have a look at it.

It would give me a chance to have a bit of a putter with HL to see if I can make a passable PF version.

For new races you will need to use the HL Editor. I would recommend reading the Glossary of Terms for the Editor. Then check out FAQ#2 for all the places to learn about the editor including YouTube videos.

I tried the APG race builder and that wasn't too useful.
That just didn't allow for STR +8 (!), DEX +4, CON +6 and WIS -2.
Those stats have "TOUGH" written all over them!

This will give me a chance to mess about with HL settings and STUFF.

If you're planning this as a player race, make sure you check out the race building section in ... is it the Advance Race Guide? You want to make sure they're not overpowered. That section will help you find a reasonable balance.
