Kingmaker Adventure Path

I have posted the first 3 books of the Kingmaker Adventure path on the website. If you find errors, it is most likely because Piazo doesnt follow the pathfinder rules for their NPCs, so I got them as close as i could.

I am working on book 4 now and almost done. but afew of the templates need to be created first. they just arent in the Beastiary.

Good deal.

Just any FYI you have an extra source in your data set called "Nelson_HR1" which causes an error when opening the .por files. You can just click through it but thought I would mention.

What I do is have a CORE data folder that has no extra sources and everything set to default when creating .por files. That way those extra source IDs are not saved to the .por files.

Otherwise great job. :)

If a source exists when a portfolio is created, whether or not that source is currently checked, Hero Lab records the presence of that source and records the on/off state of that source in that saved character.

Having it not complain if it encounters a source it doesn't know about, but is not checked, when it's opening a saved portfolio, is on our to-do list.

ShadowChemosh's suggestion - creating anything you want to share with others in a clean environment - is what I'd recommend.

Awesome! We're close to finishing the first adventure, but the party made allies out of Chief Sootscale, Tyg, and Perlivash so far... These files are an excellent resource!

Thanks!
Chris

Is the Grig race part of a set that needs to be purchused? I have pathfinder and beastiary I purchased, but I can't find the grig race?

The Grig (or as my 3-year old son calls it based on Tyg's picture, "Girl Bug") is in Bestiary 2 but I think originated in Kingmaker.

The only problem I had was having to delete the Mudman because it kept going into safe mode because there's some problem with it.

Actually i didnt have any other files that i created for PF. the only ones i hace done have been for KIngmaker. But i will go back and remove the House Rules and se f that helps.

also i had to create some of the races from scratch so there is a seperate file that you need to put into the PF folder (Mudmen was one of them)

Looking back at my files i dont have a house rule source selected. i do have all the materials for Pf that LW offers, and i do have those all selected as art of my standard build. maybe thats what is causing the errors. not sure though.

You have done a great job and saved me a lot of time Chief weasel thanks alot, I lookforward to using them with d20pro which i believe you also have some thing to do with :)

I notice that few of the monsters like the Tatzlwyrm are not in your files, do they occur in some other hero lab data package or if not has any one done a diy version?

If a monster is taken straight from the Beastary I didnt create a seperate file for it. Although i thought the tatzlwyrm was in there. I am at work atm but will check it out this evening and get back to you. If memory serves, and it doesnt some times, i think that one was added in the Kingmaker path line, just make sure you have those selected when you configure the hero.

I hope to have books 5 and 6 done by the end of next weekend. I have almost all the standard stuff in there, now i just eed to create all the special. the last boss of 4 is a real pain, he has like 4 templates which dont exist.

ops, i guess i did miss the Tatzwyrm. I'll get to it asap and put it in the zip file on the website. just give me a bit, i need to create a plan dragon for it.

Ok, i have the first 5 books completed and will post them this evening. Am working on the sixth book now and should be a week or so for it.

Are these the full encounters, or just individual NPCs and a DM would need to build the encounters? I don't want to open it up, as I'm hoping to play it soon :) The DM I game with has HeroLab as well, however, and this might entice him to run it sooner!

I've added it to the file and replaced the old one on the website, try it now and let me know. Thanks.

BTW i should have the last book done soon.

OK all the books are complete and loaded onto the website. Make sure you also get the Special Abilities zip file. it contains all the special races and such that will be needed.

Just let me know if you run intot nay problems with them.

Thank you for your contribution. This is really awesome. I'm looking forward to running Kingmaker and this will save a lot of work.

Chiefweasel, thanks for all the great work. I've been playing Kingmaker and we're on the 3rd book. It took me that long to think of looking to see if someone had posted .por files! I'm not very expereinced with Herolab customizing and was wondering why I might be getting all these load errors. When Herolabs loads it says Mudmen missing 'raVulnDisM' and then when I open the mudmen.por it says there's a critical failure in 'Nelson_HR1' and Picks spScriChao and rMudmen. Same Nelson error with Murder of Crows. So I must be doing something wrong.

thanks,
T

I may be a bit thick but can you briefly share what these files are for, and where they can be found? I'm a bit lost. :)

Thanks in advance, though! I'm about to finish up Stolen Land with my group so I'm sure it'll be helpful.
