I braved rush hour traffic in Austin to get to my FLGS today because I simply couldn't wait any longer to get my copy. :) I had a lot of reservations about Card Vault when I first looked at the demo, but they are pretty much gone now. Starting cards are done right, mrps are covered, and I've figured out to work with multiple card versions so as to match how I collect. It seems very stable and non-buggy, updates are a breeze, and even the installer is smart. Smarter than me, actually, seeing as how I forgot I didn't need to install it again and it remembered. ;)

I haven't seen anybody else mention it, so I also wanted to say that I like the color scheme. It's a *teeny* bit dark, but very attractive (and it matches the silver I use in WinXP ^.^), and the texture adds interest without being distracting. So many programs are so dull looking, it's nice to have one that's attractive as well as functional.

Time to go, I have many, many cards to enter . . .
