Issues with Eidolons

Ok, so this may just be me, but how does one design their eidolons for Pathfinder in HL? It keeps asking me for a race...
Again, this may just be me.
 
Eidolons are made as a class feature under the summoner for which you are creating them. (On the summoner tab)

Just make sure you don't have the 'Don't restrict Companion Races' house rule checked or your won't be able to find the eidolons.
 
Considering I spent a full day (or two) trying how to select my eidolon form thanks to one checkmark, I can't say a word.
