Hello,
When when I attempt to add an ellipsis to my 'background', OS X automatically formats the text, which then throws up the following error:
One or more of the letters in "Abandoned by his birth pa" could not be represented in a text field, and will be ignored. This version of Hero Lab does not fully support foreign-language character sets - this is something we plan to address in a future release.
To test:
1) Create a new Character
2) Go to the Personal Tab
3) Type in any text the Background Details text box
4) Create an ellipsis (press the period key three times on the keyboard)
5) Press the spacebar key
Now the error pops up. You can see that OS X has attempted to replace the three periods with the 'ellipsis' character, as it does in all other text editors.
I just wanted to bring this to your attention if it hasn't been already.
Thank you.
