Is SURGE not supported by HL?

Title says it all, I cant figure out how to get a character to SURGE in hero lab. Despite being able to find most of the metagentic qualities in the data base.
 
Hi SunRunner,

sure you can. Just choose "Add optional modifications for this metatype" on the Basics page. SURGE is right there (second option).
