Is it possible to have more than one set of "Default" settings?

First off, thanks for developing Hero Lab -- I find it an indispensable tool for GMing.

I am running several campaigns at once, and I'm wondering whether it would be possible to be able to choose one "Default" set of settings when I create a new Hero in one Portfolio (e.g., Fast XP, allow Advanced Races), then while working another Portfolio, be able to choose ANOTHER "Default" set of settings (e.g., Medium XP, Core Rulebook only).

I actually have 5 different campaigns running, requiring 4 different set of default rules.

Thanks in advance!

Tools menu...Duplicate Game System.

Each copy can keep its own defaults (and its own .user files)

OMG!

I've been using HeroLab as a user for over two years now, for three different simultaneous campaigns. I always thought I had to change the settings manually for each character!

I've just passed it off simply because it was one of the few annoying things this fantastic piece of software did. After all, I was used to some sourceforge software that I won't mention here...

You just saved me all kinds of time!

Now, the next question. Can I hide the systems that I don't use? The Delete only seems to list the ones I've duplicated.

Yes you can.

Navigate to the herolabs data folder, and delete the game system folders you don't use, WoD 4E Etc. this prevents them appearing in the load screen, however when HL updates to a new version they reappear, the folder structure is rebuilt. Just repeat the process again.

Hope this helps!

Thanks
