Ipad journal entries not syncing back to HL

Tried out the ipad app during a game last week. When we were awarded treasure and XP I entered these as journal entries. After each session the DM syncs the files with his computer so everything will be in HL. The journal entries do not come across. Anybody else experiencing this?
