iPad Feature Request: Spell Access Modification

As a GM, I do not use the ipad often at the table to select spells, but my players do. It is a common occurrence when selecting spells that the iPad crashes or lags to a halt while it processes the huge amount of data to show all of the spell.

There is just a lot of stuff there.

So, I was thinking. What if instead of the standard scroll box, which works very well on the desktop, we change it to a series of buttons?

You could make it smaller by having 3 buttons, spells 1-3, 4-6, 7-9 or individual buttons by spell - although that would take up a lot of space. I think that would make the loading time significantly less since it is pulling a smaller database. You could still have an "All Spell" button if you need to search, but that is when the system usually crashes.

Since the front page brings it all together, I do not think it would affect gameplay.

I think you guys must be struggling with getting all of this information on the poor little iPad without crashes. Maybe this helps... maybe it gives an idea that is way better. Who knows..

All I know is at my table, we have crashes all the time. It's an amazing app!
