Inviting players to your game

This may have been asked elsewhere but how do I invite people to my realm? Do they currently need to have the FULL GM edition? I know the Player edition isn't out yet, but there has to be a way to invite players to your realm now right? I am sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, I couldn't find it if it has been.

I believe the only way to currently share content is via a second screen at a gaming table. IIRC, the cloud-sharing functionality debuts with the player edition.

You can't invite people yet, :( not until Player Edition is out. When it is, either the full GM version or the Player version will let your players sync to the revealed information. Before that however, you have to add them in your realm as players. (I think they have to install the software, and give the GM their username so the GM can add them.)

As well as sharing via a second screen as Kairos mentioned, you could use a laptop or monitor, set it to player view and turn it to the players.

Of course, this is how I understand it. A staff member might pop up and correct me. (It's been known to happen... :o)

Actually Zaphod Beebledoc ... just kidding, you're spot on.

Until Player Edition is out, the Player View (shared on your laptop or an external monitor) is the current way to share your world with your players.

4 hours 25 minutes later...

Player Edition is live!

Phew. Glad that wasn't a long wait.
