Instant Armor

How does one apply the instant armor spell? I'm not finding it in the lists of Spell Adjustments, and adding an armor bonus adjustment doesn't also apply the armor check and max dex penalties. Adding armor adjusted for the appropriate bonus also adds weight which the armor created by this spell is made of force (no weight).

Instant Armor

The best way would be to create a new adjustment and script the affects in the adjustment.

Another work around maybe to create the Instant Armor as a new suit of armor in HL editor. This way it can have all the correct values but have no weight. The benefit with this is no scripts are required. But it will be strange as you could then make Magical versions of the suit of armor. :)

Maybe not so strange :)
The spell lets you choose better armor as you go up in level; if you choose a "lower" type, it gets a magical bonus.

You can add an appropriate suit of Armor to the character and then add Adjustments for Encumbrance and "Equipment Don't Count In Gear Value". That's what I do for Holy Ice Weapon.

Thank you for the suggestion but this option only changes the total for the gp value of the equipment carried by the character. It does not change the weight carried.

Decided instead to use the Encumbrance adjustment (-20) to negate the weight of the Instant Armor (chain mail).

Thanks all for the suggestions! :D:D:D
