M&M 3rd ed. Independent & Removable Modifiers

Is there anyway to create removable or independent modifiers as detailed in the 'Powers' Gadget Guide, within Hero Lab?

To a degree. It's possible to create a no-cost power that allows you to add modifiers and flaws to it. More tricky is making them relate to a power such that it properly handles things like fractional costs. I don't know if the system has a way to designate on the interface what power it would relate to.

There is the 'Defense Effect' and 'Strength Effect' listed. Although, neither of them allow you to add any flaws or make them removable. If there was some way to create a custom version of one of those maybe?

I'm not privy to any of the coding or custom stuff within Hero Lab unfortunately...

Probably the easiest thing to do is to share with you the .user file I wrote to allow for this. You can find it here. It allows for a "Naked" Extra. Just add your Extras and Flaws on it and then adjust their "Partial" ranks to match what you're adding it to. Adding Removeable by itself doesn't help much (because it applies it against the "Variable Descriptor" part), but you can add that power to a Device.

Let me know if I can help you in any way with it.

Awesome, thanks! Sorry for taking so long to respond. I will take a look at the file. I may take a stab at making my own stuff as well.
