Increase Hit Dice

A feat

I was trying something like:


if (hero.tagcount[Hero.HitDice] = 6) then
field[tmHitDice].value = 8
endif
 
You can only have Hit dice from races, templates, or classes. Which of those do you want to add in order to apply the effects of this feat?
 
Actually, looking again at this, are you trying to increase the number of hit dice, or are you trying to change the die size for the existing hit dice? When I originally read your question, I thought you were trying to add more hit dice, but I'm not sure if that's what you're trying to do.
 
Very cool, well it works but with a bug. The Hit dice changed, but in the "Basics" column it did not. Very odd. Basically I have 12 hit points on one side and 10 on another.

If you want to have pre-determined HP, like max HP for 1st level, or if the average HP rules are turned on, then the HD sizes need to be changed before you add that level. So the feat needs to be in place before any levels of this class are added.
 
Well this is the new error. I have the timing at pre-levels and I add the custom ability at 1st level, but as the class goes up, it get's 0 hit points. Any ideas?

I even made a template that just replaced the hit dice and boot strapped it to the custom ability. Still the same result. IDK
 
Ok, seems I had a late night brain freeze. I didn't have the box check for max hp. All seems ok now. Sorry
