Improved Familiar with Arcanist exploit/feats

I must be missing something here. No improved familiars are showing in the list even though I have Familiar (exploit) and Improved Familiar (feat).

Is there a source book or something needed to use improved familiars?

I am level 11 with all the prereqs.

On the Arcanist tab there should be a box saying "Click to edit your Arcane Familiar." Click the crosshairs there to switch to your Familiar.

Alternatively, show the Dashboard with Ctrl-D or Settings/Show Dashboard and use that to switch characters.

I got it now thank you! I was using the list from the "other" tab. Rookie mistake, my bad.
