Importing Character from other Users

Hi,

Am I able to import a character from another's portfolio if it uses content I have not purchased myself?

Let me give an example to explain my question better. I am DMing a game, using hero lab's tactical console feature to run combat. My players are creating characters in hero lab for me to import.

Now if one of players purchases a player companion data pack that I do not own, and uses features from that pack in creating his character. Will his character import into my portfolio correctly?

I'm primarily interested in using the character in the tactical console, so I'm really after whether it would display correctly there.

you will get a warning when you load the character. and the information wont be available on your version of hero lab for that character

Convince your player that if he wants access to that, then pony up the update for his GM
