Images for gear, weapons, armor etc?

Hey Mathias have you ever considered allowing players to add pictures to gear, weapon, armor etc entries?

It could work in a similar manner to the way pictures get entered into the personal section.

thoughts?

I can see two main problems with adding this;
screen real estate - on tiny screens, like a netbook, the item customization form needs to be able to show in its entirety. Try shrinking Hero Lab's window to its smallest extent - those are the screen size limits we advertise as our system requirements.
portfolio size - adding lots of images to a portfolio would greatly balloon the size of a portfolio, making it more of a hassle to transfer between devices or between users.

But portfolio size becomes less and less of a problem each year as the average internet speed improves, and a scrollbar could be added to the item customizations, so I'll keep this in mind down the road. Although just as a heads up, any books to be added (currently Rigger 5.0, and I've seen the artwork previews for Howling Shadows (if you haven't seen that announcement, it'll be this edition's critter book)) will definitely take priority, as will the items that are important enough to have gotten into the future plans list in the FAQ.

Thanks for considering it Mathias.

I agree new content is way more important, this is just a nice to have.

but imho it is a *very* nice to have ;-)
