Image Dimensions?

What are the dimensions of the gallery images? I'd like to crop some images to fit the aspect ratio of the printed sheet better.

Ok. Hopefully someone knows. I really like the feature; having a portrait on my sheet is one of the things I really like about Hero Lab's output. I'm just hoping to find a way to improve the quality when in prints / saves to pdf.

Hi,

Did you ever receive a response to this? I wish to edit my portraits that I use in Herolab to optimal dimensions and don't want to have to go through trial and error.

I see that HeroLab resized the printed/pdf sheets to accommodate most portrait sizes to the best of its ability, but there must be an optimal size preference that HeroLab is seeking that won't screw up texts, etc.?

Thanks.

I am told that HL shrinks the largest dimension to 600 pixels and then reduces the other dimensions proportionally. So, if you want your portrait to look the best it can, make the longest dimension 600 pixels and it won't be altered, something like 600 x 400 for wide and short or 300 x 600 for thin and tall.

This isnt workign for me

Has the portrait logic changed?

I keep getting a portrait that is full height but my width is out
of frame
